Every year the kids worry that Santa won’t come to our house because we aren’t usually home for Christmas. They also complain whenever we don’t get a Christmas tree that he won’t know where to put the presents. I told them this year, he will come and drop presents off even though we aren’t home. Or he will drop them wherever we are because he knows where all the children are.
We got home this evening after spending a week in LA. After unloading the car, Natalie walked past the area where the little fake Christmas tree was and saw new presents. “Santa presents!” Tyler came running over and they opened their presents from Santa. Natalie got a nail art brush set and a book that was on her wish list. Tyler got the Amulet #6 book that he REALLY wanted and a coin sorting machine.
I was talking to Tyler while helping him blow dry his hair tonight. He said his coin counting machine was really cool. I said that it was nice that Santa knew he would like it even though it wasn’t on his wish list and Tyler said, “Yeah, he probably saw me from the sky. He saw me playing with Uncle Preeda’s and he knew I liked it.” Then he looked up toward the sky and said, “Thanks Santa.”
Funny little boy.
