Tyler got a birthday card in the mail on Wednesday from Gong Gong and Po Po. He was very excited to get such a fun card in the mail! Gong Gong must think the US Postal service still runs via horses, cause this came a week early. =)

Our friends Emma & Avery had a birthday party along with their cousin at Super Franks. They had the “Taught Town” room reserved and the kids had a great time playing with all the stuff. They really enjoyed dressing up and playing in the fire engine!

Cake time!

On Saturday, we hung out with Uncle Chubber, Wileen, Jeffrey & Mimi in Palo Alto. First we stopped at Sprinkles (of course!) and then we headed over to Ikea coz Mimi has never been there and she wanted to check it out. We decided to have dinner there too! The swedish meatballs were yummy!

We missed Kaiya’s first birthday party =( . I got the day mixed up and thought it was Sunday, when really it was Saturday. So on Sunday, we drove up to San Francisco and met Kaiya for lunch at Japan town. Kaiya enjoyed eating her dad’s udon.

At school, for Valentines, Natalie got to decorate a bag so that her friends can put Valentines inside. She drew a picture of David and I on her bag. According to Natalie, David is wearing a suit and I a wedding dress. We’re standing on a stage and he’s singing a song to me.

Natalie and Tyler made chocolate cupcakes today. They walked to the store with Dad to buy some ingredients this morning and were so excited with their new project. They each took turns with a task and then after lunch got to decorate them. Monique (our neighbor) also came over and got to join in on the fun!

Uncle Khang and Big Uncle hosted a Superbowl party at their apartments. Big Uncle made some food and Uncle Khang lined up 3 plasma’s in his living room for our viewing pleasure. The kids had fun playing video games with Uncle Wen and taking a walk to go get boba drinks.

On Saturday morning, Natalie wanted to go to the library to borrow some Dora books so we dug up her library card and made the trip. When we got to the library, they were having “story time” so the kids got to enjoy that for a short while. Natalie couldn’t find any Dora books so she borrowed a book about spiders and a book about sharks. Two things she is very interested in. Behind the library, there was a park. The kids played for awhile until we had to go home for lunch.
