Meet Chocolate China! We found him at the Dollar Tree store this weekend (where original China is from.) The kids were so excited that China (full name: Snowy China Kha) has a buddy now.
(BTW – in case you are wondering, he is named China b/c he came with this huge MADE IN CHINA tag. Natalie came up with Snowy and Tyler liked China so we named him Snowy China. Tyler added his last name in.)
On the way home from school today Natalie and Tyler were talking about Tarzan in the car. So I asked them “Do you even know who Tarzan is?” and I got these replies:
Tyler: “Yes, he’s this guy that swings from vine to vine.”
Natalie: “And he’s naked and only has this napkin thingy around his little waist.”
It’s “All about me” week in Tyler’s class this week. His weekend project was to make himself out of a manila folder that was provided.
Nat lost her 3rd tooth today during lunch at school. She said the ‘Yard Duty’ sent her to the nurse’s office to rinse her mouth and the nurse gave her a small envelope for her tooth. She’s talking with a light lisp now.
We decided to skip going to LA for Labor Day weekend this year and instead stayed around for some relaxin’ fun. On Saturday, we decided to make use of our annual membership and went to Monterey Bay Aquarium again.

Then we had some delicious Cioppino at Phil’s Fish Market in Moss Landing
