Tyler started basketball again. This season, his team is the Lakers. I went to watch his game today. The team put in a lot of muscle, but they lost by 4 points. Tyler made a few good shots too.

MLK Weekend
Last weekend, for Martin Luther King weekend, the Chiu cousins came to spend the weekend with us. Tyler had basketball and football on Saturday and Sunday, but the kids still had plenty of time to play.
Dinner at Sweet Tomatoes. Always a kid favorite. Too bad they are closing down.
On Monday, we went for a short hike at Lands End in the city before parting ways with the cousins. The weather turned out nice, even though a bit cold. But it was a nice break from all the rain we’ve been having.
Holi-daze
That’s what this year’s holidays felt like. A blur. This year, it felt like the holidays came and went so fast! I could’ve sworn I just put away our Christmas gear from last year and then I find myself hauling it all back out! We spent about a week and a half of the kid’s winter break in LA. It was nice having family gatherings and catching up with relatives we haven’t seen in awhile.
