Fun in SF

We spent the day yesterday in San Francisco riding the cable car, having lunch, shopping around Union Square and Chinatown, and then having dinner at our favorite restaurant, PPQ. The weather was perfect. The Chiu cousins happen to be in the city too so we met up and spent the afternoon and evening together.

Here we are on the cable car. It seems like a touristy thing to do, but its actually fun, and you really do see a lot. The kids had fun hanging off the side of the cable car.

We had lunch at the The Rotunda at the top of Neiman Marcus. The ceiling is very beautiful.

We walked past the cable cars in Union Square and the kids jumped on for a picture

Nat found this ice cream shop on Pinterest and wanted to try it. It was just outside of Chinatown so we walked over.

Here’s a time lapse video of our cable car ride:

Scary Kids

While waiting for a table for lunch today, we stopped at a Spirit Halloween store next door. These two (Tyler & Kaiya) had fun trying on scary masks and scaring the rest of us.

MVP

Today was Tyler’s semi-final in Volleyball. His team lost so the season ended today. After the game, the coach gave a talk to the team and then handed out 3 awards:
1) Best Serve
2) Best Team Spirit
3) MVP – which Tyler got!

He was very proud of winning MVP! (And we are too!)

The kids chat

I was watching TV and caught the kids chatting last night. They didn’t know I was recording them. I love how they get along so well. They were talking about sports at school.

Tyler’s Serve Streak

The volleyball season is almost over. In today’s game, Tyler had a really great serve streak which brought the team about 5 points. The opposing coach had to call a timeout which ended up icing the play.
