The Ivivva at our local mall offered a free yoga class to girls this morning so Nat and her friend decided to go check it out. The girls ranged from 1st to 7th grade and the teacher made the class very kid friendly and fun. It was the first time Nat has tried yoga and she said she liked it and would be open to going again! She even made it onto their Instagram: @ivivva_valleyfair

Fun at IKEA
Nat has been wanting a new storage shelf in her room so we went to IKEA today in search of one. IKEA on the weekends is not a good idea. The parking lot was packed and the store was even more packed with people. The girl was on a mission though, so we stuck it out. We had fun walking through the showroom and checking out the different rooms.
As soon as we got home, Nat got to work putting together her new storage shelf.
Labor Day Weekend
Uncle Tommy and Auntie Kari welcomed their new baby girl – Kelsie – to the world about a week and a half ago so we decided to drive down to LA for a visit since it was a 3 day weekend. She is teeny-tiny! I’ve forgotten how small and fragile new born babies are. (And all they do is drink milk and sleep!) We’re very happy with the new addition to the family!
We took the kids to Bottega Louie to get some treats. Nat fell in love with the dessert case. It was hard for her to decide which one she wanted. She settled on a cheesecake and some macarons and Tyler only got macarons.
The girls had fun playing together. Melanie was sad when we left 🙁
Dad reminded me that today (Sept 4th) marks our 40th anniversary since arriving to the US in 1976. So we decided to have a small party to celebrate. It was a nice excuse to have everyone over and eat lots of food. Too bad my brothers weren’t here too.
