At the beginning of the school year when fall sports were kicking off, Tyler came home one day after school and asked if he could join the waterpolo team. I was so surprised! He’s never shown any interest in water sports. I was worried it might be too strenuous but couldn’t say no, so he went for it. After his first practice, he said it was the hardest workout of his life. Good thing I made him swim 50 laps regularly over the summer. The swimming pool was remodeled/expanded over the summer and this is the first year their school has a waterpolo team. Most players are new to the sport. They’ve lost all their matches so far, but he says it’s fun. The video is clips of Tyler handling the ball at the end of each attempt to shoot. He has scored a few points in each of the matches.
