At the beginning of the school year, I made a deal with Nat that if she got straight A’s this year, I would get her an iPhone. Her first quarter grades arrived in the mail today. Looks like she’s on track. I think I should’ve made a harder deal!

Halloween doesn’t come around on a Saturday often enough, so we decided to host a Halloween party at our house. We had several friends and family over for a potluck and then everyone went out trick or treating in our neighborhood. I was hoping since Halloween was on a Saturday this year that we would get more trick or treaters than years past. But no, we only had 7 knocks. I need to figure out how to get more foot traffic over to our house. Let me know if you have any tips.

The kids were out for over 2 hours trick or treating. When they got back, everyone poured their candy on the floor and started to eat, sort, and trade their candies. Ah, to be a kid.
