On Sunday (2/12) at Tyler’s Football game, he caught an amazing pass that resulted in a touchdown! Luckily, one of the player’s dads recorded it!

Science Camp
Tyler went to science camp last week with the other 5th graders in his school. David went along as a parent chaperone, so I was able to get more pictures this time (vs. when Natalie went.) Tyler said it was a lot of fun and he especially enjoyed hiking and the meals at the camp. While the boys were gone (Tues-Fri), Nat and I had fun eating out for dinner every night. I wasn’t in the mood to cook for 2 people!
Chinese New Year
Happy year of the rooster. Characteristics of those born in the year or the rooster are early risers and loyal. I know this only because I looked it up for something I was doing at work.
Chinese new year’s eve was on a Friday this year. Natalie’s Chinese school teacher hosted a party at her house for the students in her class. They made dumplings and practice writing auspicious words using a mao bi (Chinese calligraphy).
On Saturday, we hosted a small gathering at our house and had Hot Pot.
