Natalie made a necklace out of cereal at school.
At night, we found Tyler munching on it.

So we’re over at Uncle chubber and Wileen’s house yesterday. Wileen is in Chubber’s room watching Tyler while he’s drawing on the white board, while everyone is having dinner. I later notice her out eating with us, and ask David what Tyler’s doing and who’s watching him. Turned out, he was alone in the room drawing on the walls! Thanks alot Wileen.
Good thing for the magic eraser and Uncle chubber’s scrubbing, it got out.
Natalie: “Mom, do we have a backyard?”
Mom: “No”
Natalie: “Can we buy one?”
Mom: “What do you want to put in it?”
Natalie: “A playground and some flowers”
The drop off this morning went very well. Natalie brought bunny with her to keep her company. We gave each other a hug and she let me go without any fuss. The teacher offered her a puzzle toy to keep her interested.
I left work early to pick her up. Was worried about her all day. When I got to the school, I saw the kids playing on the playground and as I walked closer, I scanned for Nat but didn’t see her anywhere. I saw her teacher sitting under a tree. As I got closer, I noticed Nat sitting right next to her teacher and when her teacher saw me, she said to Nat, “Look who’s here!” Nat looked at me emotionless, her eyes glossy… no movement. My heart nearly broke seeing her like that. I opened the gate and went inside and her teacher told me that she did really well all day and made a friend, but when the friend went home, Nat started to cry. I got a short 411 on her day and then we went inside the classroom to collect her things. In the car ride home, as she was talking, her voice was still a bit cracky, but I kept telling her what a good girl she was at school. When we got home, she couldn’t stop talking… kept wanting to play games and tell me about the piece of chocolate her teacher gave her.
Let’s hope tomorrow is better.
Natalie: “How do dogs itch?”
Dad: “You mean scratch?”
Natalie: “Yeah”
Dad: “With their paws”
Natalie: “Oh, to get the bugs out?”
Natalie: “Why do you have to go to work?”
Mom: “So I have money to buy all the things you want”
Natalie: “Mom, do you remember when I was a baby?”
Mom: “Yes”
Natalie: “I was sooo cute”
Natalie: “Why is there yellow light?”
Mom: “So cars know when they have to slow down, because the red light is coming.”
Natalie: “Tyler did it.”
Today’s Tyler’s 2nd Birthday. He had a birthday party on Saturday. Lots of friends and food. There are still remnants of play-doh around the house! Tonight, we celebrated with some cupcakes, which he enjoyed very much.
