Today is David’s birthday! Nat had an all day volleyball tournament and Tyler had 2 basketball games today so we did some birthday celebrations yesterday. Nat made this cake yesterday (though we had it today after dinner) and we went out for a nice dinner at Forbes Mill Steakhouse.

We spent a week during the Christmas holiday in LA and it went by quick! It was nice to escape freezing temps in San Jose and be in warmer weather in LA. Christmas with the Khas was at Uncle Tommy & Auntie Kari’s house again this year. There was so much food! We had a turkey, ham, AND a prime rib! Plus lobster noodles and side dishes.

Christmas with the Chu’s/Chiu’s was at Uncle Chai’s house this year. Here’s a picture of everyone, minus Ronald our photographer.

Big Uncle gave the kids a lesson on watercolor painting.

Enjoyed a morning hiking at Griffith Park. It was a big smoggy that day.

We took PoPo bowling. It was her first time.

Had a buffet lunch with Grandma and Grandpa
