Tyler started school today. 8th grade, last year of middle school. He was excited to start school and see his friends again. This evening he reported that he is not happy with his math class and wants to switch. He thinks the students in the class are too rowdy and talkative.
After school, he left a note with the vice principal asking for a class switch. We’ll see how this goes…

I took Tyler to the allergy department at Kaiser today to get re-tested. Bad news, he’s still allergic to peanuts. Good news, the allergy level seems to have gone down.

Nat started 10th grade today (Aug 12, 2019). She has a 0 period courtesy of Leadership class, so she has to get to school before 7:15! She woke up very early today… I don’t even know what time. I wasn’t ready. Tyler still has another week and half before he starts school. Summer break has come and gone too quickly. Both kids commented that we didn’t even go to the beach this summer yet!
