Do you need a haircut?

These two are learning to cut hair since we can’t go out for haircuts, though I’m not ready to let them cut mine!

Goodbye Braces

5/14/20

On Monday, much to our surprise, we got a call from Nat’s orthodontist asking to schedule an appointment. They scheduled to see her yesterday morning. Nat’s been eager to go back for an appointment as she has been due to have her braces removed. After a quick appointment reviewing her teeth, the orthodontist said she was ready to get her braces removed, so they scheduled her again for this morning. She was so excited! It’s been 2 years and 4 months since she put them on.

Mother’s Day 2020

Mother’s Day during Covid-19 wasn’t too different from the past years, except we didn’t go out for a hike this year. David and the kids made breakfast this morning. I was surprised to see Nat up and dressed so early this morning. She has been sleeping in til around noon on weekends. Nat made Japanese soufflĂ© pancakes and they came out pretty good! Tyler cooked sausages and bacon and made me a cup of coffee. Everything else was David.

Tyler wrote me a nice card. (Stan is his little stuffed cat)

Nat made me Kringle cookies. These are one of my favorite.

For dinner, David made a nice slow cooked pork roast.

Chubber and Wileen made some blueberry and strawberry pie for us. We had pie a la mode. I ate very well today.
