Black Friday 2020

No where to go shopping today, and after last night’s feast, we took the kids out for a hike today at The Dish in Palo Alto. It’s a 3.6 mile hilly loop with really great views of Silicon Valley and the Stanford University campus.

In the evening Uncle Khang came over and joined us for dinner. We ordered cajun shrimp and had left overs from last night. Uncle Khang also brought over boudin sausages he made.

Thanksgiving 2020

With Covid cases out of control, we decided to skip going to LA for Thanksgiving this year. It was a hard decision and the kids really wanted to go, but it just wasn’t right to put ourselves and our extended families health at risk. David decided he still wanted to have a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, so we got a side of turkey and ham and had the kids make some side dishes. They made mashed potatoes, roasted potatoes, and prepped the turkey and ham. David also made brussel sprouts with bacon and I made a salad. There was a lot of food for just the 4 of us, but it was nice.

In the morning, we had a photo shoot to get our Christmas card picture ready

Cheers and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone

Halloween 2020

Halloween is one of Nat’s favorite holidays. She loves to dress up! She wasn’t going to let Covid stop her this year even though there weren’t any Halloween activities. She decided to make a costume anyways and dressed up for the day.

Tyler was a good brother and helped model for her so she could make adjustments
