The girl went to her first school dance today! I can’t believe she’s at an age where she’s going to school dances already! After school she had me drop her off at her friends house to get ready. She had to stop back at our place on her way to school because she forgot her school ID so I was able to snap this pic of her and her friends.

Fleet Week 2015
A couple weekends ago, we drove up to San Francisco to check out Fleet Week. It was our first time actually going to watch the air show. We had seen some of it once before while driving to Marin several years back. We packed some snacks and brought our bikes so we could ride around the Marina. David and I really under estimated the crowd that would be there. I heard later that day there were about 2,500 people in attendance! We got incredibly lucky with residential parking nearby too. We parked ourselves right in the heart of all the activity. There were food booths and souvenir booths all around.
When the air show started, David and I was were blown away at the magnificence of all the aircrafts. The kids on the other hand got bored by the 3rd show. “Can we do something else now?”… We hadn’t even seen the Blue Angels yet! So after several complaints we rode our bikes along the Marina and then got near the edge by the water just in time to catch a glimpse of the Blue Angels! Man it was loud. Unfortunately, the fog was coming in fast so we could barely see the jets, only hear them.
I’m a Soccer Mom
I’m a soccer mom. Literally.
Tyler joined soccer this season and is on a team with his school friends. Luckily the coach – who happens to be his buddy Jason’s dad, allowed him on the team, even though the roster was full. Today the team played in a tournament, winning the first game 2-1 and tied the second game 0-0. During the trophy ceremony, Coach Ray described Tyler as the guy who blocks the most with his chest.
