Most kids play sports or just play on weekends. Not my daughter, she does her nails! For Christmas, she got a Hello Kitty nail art book and some nail art tools and she’s been practicing different designs since. Do you want your nails done? You can schedule an appointment with Nat. 🙂

Sunday Hike
It’s the middle of winter and close to 80 degrees. We’re going through some wierd mini heat wave so we decided to take advantage of the nice day and go for a hike. We headed over to the Fremont Older Open Space Reserves trails which is only about 10 minutes away and is becoming our “go to” hiking destination.
Natalie and Tyler enjoy hiking, surprisingly. They especially like getting to the top of the hill where there is a sitting area to enjoy the view of Silicon Valley and have snacks.
Vegas!
We spent MLK weekend in Vegas for a surprise birthday get together for David’s birthday. His whole family drove in from LA and boy was he surprised! Nat and Tyler were super excited to get to go to Vegas especially since I’m always telling them it’s not a place for kids. They got to enjoy a buffet at the Bellagio, play at the arcade, watch The Blue Man Group, and visit the M&M and Coca Cola stores. We also drove through Red Rock canyon which was really nice. The weekend went by really quick and they were sad to have to leave.
Nat Goes To Camp
Natalie left for a 4 day science camp in the Santa Cruz mountains today. She’s been so excited about camp she started packing on Friday, but was talking about it for the last month! She set her own alarm this morning and was up before 6:30am and ready by 7:00am even though she didn’t have to be at school til 7:45.
