Before Thanksgiving break, Tyler’s class had a Thanksgiving feast! The kids got to sign up to contribute to the party. Tyler brought Otter Pops. All the kids dressed up as pilgrims.
The kids had the day off from school today for Veteran’s day, so I booked our BFF Morgan for a play date! We started the afternoon by having lunch at Red Robin and then we headed over to Color Me Mine for some fun painting time.
Not sure what that glop of stuff is by Tyler’s mouth!
On Halloween, the kids had Halloween parade’s at school. The Kindergartener’s had theirs separate from the rest of the school. Tyler was excited to parade around in his costume. Lots of kids were calling out “Snoopy!” and I heard several parents say to one another “Did you see Snoopy?”
Getting ready to go Trick-or-Treating. This year, Sinclaire came over again and the three kids went trick-or-treating around our neighborhood.
We got 2 medium sized pumpkins from the Moreland school district pumpkin patch. Natalie carved the bigger one and Tyler took on the smaller. We also had a bunch of baby pumpkins from the pumpkin patch and our garden.
Yup “Snooby” That’s how Tyler says it. He was so proud of this costume this year. (Picked it himself too!) He was originally going to be Mario from Super Mario Bros, but for some reason changed his mind.
On Saturday, our friends Chris & Dori had a Halloween/Birthday party for Chris’s birthday. Natalie and Tyler had fun dressing up and going to what felt like a grown-up party. There weren’t many kids there. Dori and her family did an awesome job decorating the house and backyard. Tyler said it was really spooky but cool.
In the car on the way to the party
The kids got to decorate pumpkins
Tyler said it was “the best party ever”
While at the party, Tyler came running up to me and said, “Mom, someone I don’t know just took a picture of me.” He was happy about this because he was very proud of his costume and knew he looked cute!
We even met Russell from Up! there
There was a fire dancer performance. This guy was awesome!
