Thanksgiving Week 2017

We spent Thanksgiving week in LA and kicked off the week spending two days at the Great Wolf Lodge to celebrate Hunter’s birthday. There was a heat wave in LA last week and on a couple days went well above 90 degrees. Definitely not Fall weather. The week went by fast spending time between the families.

Club Volleyball

Nat had volleyball tryouts tonight at City Beach. It’s a private club volleyball group. She tried out for “Premier” which is the mid-level group and got an offer letter to be on the team! She was pretty thrilled. Unfortunately, her 2 friends got wait-listed. Looks like we’re going to be busy with volleyball until next June!

Halloween 2017

Halloween was on a Tuesday this year. Game 6 of the World Series was on. Houston Astros vs. LA Dodgers. It’s been a very exciting series.

Natalie made her costume this year. Totoro. I was pleasantly surprised at the detail and effort she put into making her costume. She sure doesn’t get her crafty abilities from me. Tyler recycled his costume from last year.

The loot

Tyler went to the Great American Haunt fest with his friend and David. He was nervous at first, but they were able to buy these “no scare” lanyards.

This is the pumpkin David carved for his office contest. He won.
