While in LA, we took a long overdue trip to Forest Lawn to pay respect to my grandparents, great uncle, and uncle. It was nice to take a moment to reflect and remember. I hope the kids learn and understand the importance of remembering family members who have passed.

Uncle Mike took the kids down to Manhattan Beach and gave Kaiya and Tyler a quick surfing lesson. The water was cold but they managed. The lesson helped Tyler since he tried surfing in Hawaii. He got a few good runs in. It was Kaiya’s first time surfing too.

The kids flew down to LA a week before July 4th weekend to spend extra time with cousins and Popo & Gong Gong. They were spoiled with treats all week.

Somehow, Popo fished out my old prom dress and it fits Nat perfectly. Sadly, she doesn’t want to wear it to her own prom.
