Night Market

At the parking lot of the San Jose flea market is a night market that is happening Saturday nights through September. We checked it out tonight. Lots of food trucks and some local vendors were there.

The kids had a hot dog and cupcakes. David and I shared mini sloppy joes and a doughnut burger. It was pretty good!

Tyler wrote his name on one of the trucks. His eyes were closed because he said the flash was too bright.

A Trip to Universal Studios

While we were in LA for the 4th of July holiday, we decided to take the kids to Universal Studios. It was their first time going. Natalie and Jay got to ride all the rides. Tyler had to skip out on the Mummy Returns ride because he wasnt tall enough. It turns out it was a pretty scary ride, according to Nat and Jay.

We walked the red carpet

We got to ride the new Transformers 3-D ride. As Tyler simply put it, “IT WAS AWESOME!”

We got to meet Optimus Prime (there’s a real person inside)

Sat by the Hollywood sign

Natalie was pretty nervous on the Jurassic Park ride

We met the Lorax

On the tour

No Parents Day 6

The kids enjoyed lunch at Mcdonald’s and then got to swimming at Uncle Preeda’s house. I arrived that night to happy kids!

No Parents Day 5

Day 5 was a Saturday. PoPo and Gong Gong took the kids on a bus tour that included a lavender farm and blueberry farm.

Lunch was at a casino!

The kids had a great time picking blueberries. Natalie reported that Tyler was picky with his blueberries and only wanted to pick big ones, therefore he did not fill his bucket. Natalie filled her bucket though. The blueberries were very sweet!
