Spending the holidays in LA…

Kaiya came over to play today. The kids ran around and played with toys and jumped on the bed.

After dinner, we drove over to Griffith Park to check out the DWP light festival. It’s a driving tour. It took us 1 hour of sitting in traffic before starting the light show section. Thank goodness for a port-a-potty, otherwise we would’ve had to give up and get out!

Natalie’s Kindergarten Holiday Performance

Natalie’s school had a Kindergarten performance last Thursday. She was so excited about dressing up and performing in front people. Tyler was sick so he had to stay home with Dad. Before the show, I asked Natalie if she wanted me to go or her dad and she said she wanted me to go because she knew if I didn’t get a chance to see her sing, I would be sad. The show room was packed with people and I had to stand in the back. It was hard to take pictures and video without someone standing in front of me. The kindergarteners sang about 6 or 7 different songs.

Thanksgiving 2009 continued

On the Saturday after Thanksgiving, after all the Black Friday mayhem, we took Po Po to the city to ride the cable car. The kids loved it and even got to hang in the back for awhile.

It was a nice day in the city, but a little windy.

The kids suckered Po Po into buying them ice cream even though it was cold outside
