Diana and family were in town visiting for Spring break and Theresa and Christina were also in town cause Christina was checking out some local colleges so Khang made his famous sashimi dishes and everyone came over to eat. Afterwards, we played cranium. We were divided into 4 teams and the 2 losing teams had to play egg roulette. 4 boiled eggs and 8 raw in the carton.

We went to another egg hunt at Live Oak Park on Saturday. They had ALOT of eggs at this one plus other candies and toys. Everything was free too: balloons, face painting, drinks, & bags. The weather was great and the kids had an awesome time.

Last Saturday, we went to an egg hunt at Los Gatos High School. Our real estate agent Jackie lives in Los Gatos so she told us about it. Natalie and Tyler had a great time getting candy and playing games. They had a section of lawn blocked off and at different times, certain age groups could go in and hunt eggs & candy. When they said “go” Tyler ran in and ran back out. There were too many kids and he got scared.

After the egg hunt, the kids played games and got prizes

We also ran into Camden and family. Cam is half a month older than Nat

On weekend mornings, the kids never sleep in as we would want them to. Tyler is especially notorious for getting up early on weekends and then wanting to eat cereal and watch TV, yet on weekdays its always a struggle to get them awake!
Enjoying the Saturday morning cartoons

Today, Tyler had his annual check up and Natalie had her pre-kindergarten check up. Both kids are healthy and growing great! Natalie is almost 70% in height, but under 50% in weight. Tyler is fairly average all around. After Natalie’s exam, she had to get a TB test. She cried of course, but it ended quickly and she got 2 stickers from the nurse.

We said our goodbyes to Dr. Yen today as we’ll likely be switching to a closer Kaiser after we move. Dr. Yen has been our pediatrician since both kids were born. She’s awesome and we will miss her!

Yesterday was Willy’s birthday. They decided since they were going to have dinner near our house, they would stop by with the birthday cake to celebrate with us. They didn’t show up until 9pm, they were waiting for Willy to come home from whereever she was and then the hot pot restuarant they were planning to go to was closed for the night! So they came over first and we had some delicious Tiramisu cake and in a rush left to go to another restuarant and finally have dinner.

While in LA, we also went with Kaiya to Griffith Park to ride the train. Tyler loves trains! He was so excited to watch all the activity at the train station. Afterwards, the kids shared some cotton candy.

I made an attempt to kidnap Kaiya over the weekend, but was unsuccessful. She thought it was funny though when I carried her out of the room with her in my bag.

For Po Po’s birthday, we had dinner at a Chinese restaurant called CBS in Chinatown.
