A couple week’s back, I took the kids to Ben & Jerry’s for free cone day. Uncle Chubber came with us too!

Yummy ice cream. Both kids got mint-chocolate_chip. I got coffee. Uncle Chubber got ‘Imagine Whirled Peace’ which consisted of chocolate fudge peace signs, toffee cookie dough, and swirls of caramel vanilla ice cream. It’s named in honor of John Lennon.

Tyler ate his ice cream quickly, then finished the rest of mine, and then tried to have some of Natalie’s, but was unsuccessful in getting any of hers.

I was playing some video’s Po Po made in a smilebox email today and Natalie was watching. This was her commentary:

Nat: “Are those old people?”

Me: “Yes, remember that T-Po? She lives there now.”

Nat: “Oh, are they watching a performance?”

Me: “Yes, for St. Patricks Day.”

Nat: “Is that where Heaven is?”

We all put on our green shirts today for St. Patrick’s day. Tyler was especially happy because his favorite color is green!

When I picked Natalie up from school today, she said it was her lucky day. She said it was lucky because during lunch, so got pizza, chocolate milk, a shamrock cookie, AND a chocolate gold coin!

Yesterday evening, Auntie Kathy invited us over for some split pea soup. The kids had mac-n-cheese with fish sticks and fruit salad and the adults had soup with bread. It was very yummy!

After dinner, Natalie read “The Little Pea” to us.

Today’s Tyler’s 4th birthday. I asked him last night what he wanted to eat for dinner tonight. I told him he could have anything he wanted. So he said he wanted chicken, rice and soup. And so, we had that.

We had a delicious cake. He said he wanted a cake with strawberries, cream, and chocolate

On Sunday, we went to Chuck E Cheese, Tyler’s favorite fun place.

Natalie’s school had a fundraiser at Applebee’s on Saturday. For $5 you get a short stack of pancakes with some bacon and juice or coffee. When we got there, a few of Natalie’s classmates were there and so was her teacher Ms. Arndt.

Natalie got George for the weekend, so he came along too. While we were waiting for a table, Natalie brought George around to mingle with her friends.

Tyler also ran into a friend from preschool. This little girl’s name is also Natalie. They are in the same class and her sister and Nat are in the same Kindergarten class.

On Saturday, before returning to San Jose, we stopped at Kaiya’s birthday party.

Last night while we were getting ready to brush our teeth, I asked Natalie if I could touch her wiggly tooth. It was very loose. I told her to try pulling on it because it was ready to come out, but she was too scared. While I was getting her toothbrush ready, she suddenly shouts, “My tooth came out!” I guess she decided to try pulling on it and it came out.

Overnight, the toothfairy came and left her two 50 cent coins. She was excited to find them in her toothfairy pillow this morning. She was also excited to get to school to tell her friend Morgan who also has 2 missing teeth in the same place.

Natalie: One time I heard a dog say something to another dog.

On Sunday, we went over to Grandma’s house and hung out with David’s side of the family.
