We’re heading to China for a Chiu family reunion where my great grandfather is from and my dad spent some of his childhood. This morning we met Big Uncle and headed to SFO and met up with Uncle Way and family. The 10 of us are flying together to Guangzhou and will meet Popo and Gong Gong for a connecting flight to the hometown of Meixian.

The first leg of our flight was a brutal 13 hrs and 20 mins. The kids watched several movies. I myself watched 4! (Ocean’s 8, Roman Holiday, Wonder, and Mamma Mia)

We landed in Guangzhou late at night after a 1 hr connection in Wuhan and headed to our hotel, The Holiday Inn Express, where we stayed the night and will head back to the airport in the morning.
